Despite the mediocre sides, the chicken really was some of the best that I have tasted from a fast food restaurant. had a crunchy outside and a moist meaty inside, and they were seasoned well, only salt needed! In the past I have tried tenders from other restaurants and they came off a bit bland, but not here! The fries were good but nothing special, while the cheese sticks fine but left a bit to be desired – you only got three small sticks for $1.69, the other sides looked to be a better value. There sure are a lot of places that serve up chicken, how did Chicken Express review with Om and Nom? On Halloween Eve we decided to grub on some Chicken Express, the closest restaurant to where we were at the time. And I would order it again, assuming they don’t pull it because I might be the only person who’s ordered it  I’ll be back with my handsome love again and again! More So, I went totally off the rails this time and got what I am sure will not be around for long because who would do salad in a place where grease reigns? I had the Caesar salad with tenders. They do chicken, just chicken (usually) and sweet tea and they do it REALLY well! Yes, their sides are completely average, but their chicken is out of this world and their sweet tea is amazing. Nom: Ok, you’ve heard me say it before and I’ll say it again…I really like Chicken Express. Oh, and they sure do keep behind the counter clean! Good chicken, good value, proximity, and a clean restaurant will make me come back again. Their sides are “ok”, might be a few places that are better, but I still have no issues finding something that I like. I always order the chicken tenders, not a fan of bones-in meat…it’s always warm, tastes fresh, and crispy enough to satisfy me. to where we live, making it super easy to grab some convenient chicken. Om: To me, most of the chicken places are interchangeable, but that’s not a bad thing because all of the chicken is pretty good! Chicken Express just happens to be the closest. Wanted some Chicken, Chicken Express is the closest place, so off we went!
